This is Book One in a very comprehensive universe created to hold a
supremely powerful ruling being. They are named Corianna and are
ultimately tamed by love. I was strongly reminded of the epic of
Gilgamesh.
The grammar was terribly lacking, as if English was
not the author's first language. The title is not clear-- 'Spectrum'
appears nowhere in the story. Weighing against the technical problems
are some awesome concepts of how a super-being can work either for or
against its own species as a whole. The attempts at depicting
gender-fluid family life are commendable if not convincing, and the
depiction of different alien species is slap-dash and left to us readers
to complete.
